I do it – we all do it. Install a fresh Ubuntu and forget to extend the LV and filesystem because were in a hurry – then we wonder where our disk space went. Below is a helpful article on extending the LV and filesystem.
I’ve used it twice and – yep – it works… Just type your commands rater than copy/paste – as character encoding can cause big headaches in your terminal window.
